PTI Intra-party Election: Darwaza All Set to Eye on Tehsil President Position

While PTI is all set to exercise intra-party elections another time in the upcoming months; political activities in UC Palak has also gained a momentum inside PTI ranks after selection of Darwaza VC Nazim Waseem Dildar Abbasi as a candidate for Tehsil president slot.

Darwaza has responded in a splendid way in majority to Waseem Abbasi after a grand party convention in Islamabad attended by MNA Dr. Azhar Jadoon, PTI leader Raja Mobeen Ur Rehman and hundreds of party workers full of enthusiasm and zeal.

Waseem Dildar Abbasi who joined PTI last year after parting his ways from PMLN—has managed to make his place very strong in PTI due to his active and strong political mobilization. Politics of Darwaza has also observed a sudden tsunami after his joining as temperature seems to be highly risen after his inclusion.

In PTI’s convention in Islamabad; a temporary party structure was also announced for PTI Darwaza to organize the party to help streamline party membership process as well as to strengthen the party by trickling down the party power at the grass root level. Mohammad Anwar Abbasi has been elected as party president for VC Darwaza while Shuja Abbasi has been elected as Youth wing president. Various other positions have also been filled by choosing a mix of old and new party workers from different parts of Darwaza.

It is important to mention here that other faction in the party—led by Abdul Qayyum Abbasi (former vice president PTI UC Palak) has expressed their grievances and haven’t accepted inclusion of Waseem Dildar Abbasi in the party. However, their group doesn’t enjoy a strong support in village Darwaza compared to Waseem Dildar Abbasi.

In a recent social media message; Waseem Dildar Abbasi has requested all party workers to get united to fight the bigger evil—PML-N. However, party is expected to continue having such groupings at different levels during the party elections.
